Joining NAFCO
Membership is
available to all individuals and organizations that
support our mission.
The
National Association of Female Correctional Officers (NAFCO) is the only
organization in the United States providing a national voice for female
correctional officers. NAFCO is dedicated one hundred percent on improving
working conditions in prisons, jails and correctional facilities in the United
States. Our mission is to represent officers
on issues that would make
correctional environments safer and more secure, such as working to end rape and
sexual assault and providing greater access to cutting edge technology. NAFCO is
not a labor organization. We work to educate the public and media and seek
legislative change at the federal, state and local levels of government.
Currently, NAFCO is a 100% volunteer organization. We have no overhead costs. Your dues money for 2008 will be spent on implementing NAFCO’s legislative
agenda.
